Grim Reaper Whitetail Special?

Have any of the OBers used this broadhead? I am planning on using this head and minimag is looking at the Rage 2 blade. We plan to use dual broadhead system until one head steps up and shows it's superiority.

i use Grim Reapers...they are my favorite head.
They fly true and cause a good bit of damage.
I use the original GR head not the WT Special but I haven't heard of any issues with them.
Good luck in your research
Rage markets their product very well, I think that is the only thing if does better than GrimReapers

I said Rage but he's mostly looking at rear deploying so he may use NAP Killzone or Ulmer's Edge. I'm liking the third blade on the Reaper and since I limit myself to short shots anyway I feel my bow can push the 2" head clean through.

Whitetail special is for bows with more speed i believe. I use the reaper 1 3/8" cut and had no issues.

Grim Reaper's are proven heads, but when I shoot mechanical heads I prefer the larger entrance wounds made by rear deploying blades.
Great head, they cut big holes and will out penetrate Rage heads due to a more forgiving blade angle and the ability of the blades to swivel.
120lb doe, slightly quartering to, pass through at 25 yards, 30 yard recovery
200lb Boar, 18 yards, severely quartering to, shot through the shoulder, 24" of penetration, 40 yard recovery

Great broadhead! I've never had a problem with them and I have shot them for 2 years now.

Buy them and never look back. Been shooting them for years. The blood trails are absurd.

Thanks guys
If there is a notable difference in the effectiveness of the rear deploying heads I'll change. That's the reason for us employing the "Dual Broadhead" system until we find the best one.
