Not on half shell, just put it in aluminum foil, butter, salt, pepper, Tony's, lemon on top. Cook til slightly dried.



i do this pretty much exactly. usually keep a few 3 pounders or so just for this, comes out awesome to me

Never grilled a big one but used to grill 1 lbers at the camp often with scales still on. Wrap in foil, season, butter, little lemon. Keep tight in foil. 15 mins later you got a good eating fish. Imagine that big mama you caught might not be as good. But try it!
