Do you have any real world experience with a Glock?

The M&P can't hold a Glock's jock strap. M&P is still sitting on the junior varsity team.
Just don't open carry right?

I don't have a problem with open carry. I don't think it is very smart but each person has their own choice to make.

Yea I've shot a few. The only one I ever had jam was my buddies .45acp compact (whatever model that is) and it has a bad habit of stovepiping. He's had it worked on once and the problem isn't fixed. I'm sure it's just a lemon because the others (a G17 and G23) never hiccuped.
It isn't hard to find accounts of them malfunctioning though.

I hate my g26 but that's because of ergonomics of the weapon, not because it jams.
But I wouldn't know because it's had less than 50 rds through it

Does he want to sell it? I'll give him $300 for a broke Glock!

He may want to. I can find out.

Yes. Any gun can malfunction. I'm not saying they never malfunction or don't have lemons.
Like I said. I can understand if you don't care for how it feels in your hand or you just like a smoother shooting weapon.
I cannot understand any arguments that question the reliability. Glock is and will go down historically as one of the most reliable semiauto pistols of it's time.
