Looking to wet a hook this weekend.

If ya'll were hittin some freshwater fishin this weekend, where would go within an hour of BR? Any good reports close by? I'm not familiar at all with a lot of the local water, but trying to learn. Thanks OB!

Blind river is all screwed up. Would not go. Avoid at all cost. Fish all died.

Was thinking of maybe puttin in at Bayou Corne and fishin some of those canals in that area, or go a little farther south and put in at Pierre Part and fish those canals. Yes? No? Maybe?

I caught a few bass in Henderson on Wednesday. But the water has come up about 2 feet since then. You'd probably have to go into the woods to catch em.

I know. I fished amite river and they were every where. Thankfully none fished my favorite bank and I caught about 100 bream. But usually I'm up there with 2-3 boats. There were 12-15 Sunday

i was in the yak and it got annoying the same boats passing by. the fish would shut down for 10 minutes with each boat.

Thanks for the update on Bayou Corne, I'll cross that off the list. I've heard of Sherburne and I think a friend of mine is familiar with Little Alabama, thanks, may give him a call and see what he can tell me about that.
