Red beer, you are correct, red foxes do live closer to people. Gray foxes are only distant relatives to red foxes. Gray foxes are very good tree climbers, reds can not climb. The two often get confused because of coloring, but grays will always have a black tip tail. Reds will always have a white tip

That’s a great get. I think I enjoy getting other animals on my cameras more than the deer

They are fairly easy to see on a drive to Alaska - often almost fearless around campgrounds in the wilds of Canada and Alaska.

I had one as a pet when in college. He was running around the library and very small.

Raised and enjoed him for about a year. He was skidish in the daytime, but when I would come home at night he was calm as could be.

He used to like to jump out in front of dogs and have them give chase. They never caught him and they tired of his pranks.

Some kid with nunchucks hit him in the head and abbreviated his one year existance.
