What I find interesting is that nobody actually asked about my political views, so I'll fill everyone in. Its been much more fun to call me names than to actually ask.

In a nutshell I believe both parties and most of you are full of shite. But I do believe that both parties have some merits. It's been assumed I'm anti-gun and this is patently false. I'm an outdoorsman that owns dozens of them. It's been assumed that I'm pro taxes and to be honest I am. I believe everyone should be paying more to eliminate the deficit and not just the so-called 1%. It's been assumed I'm pro Big-government and this too is false. I believe the government should have a role but also that entitlement programs including Social Security and Medicare should be cut. The only way in my opinion that were turning this country around is for the Reps to accept that there is a role for government and taxes and for Dems to accept that entitlements are not untouchable.

Some would call this being a radical moderate but I'm certainly no-dyed in the wool Liberal. I hate to deprive you of your entertainment fodder. I'd appreciate it moving forward that my politics be discussed in their appropriate context. Theres far more to me than just a political label.... Cheers

By the way...I like Apollo Beach. Cool little place.... I rented a house over there for a week while I was working the Tampa/St. Pete/Sarasota area. I was gone most of the time but the family loved the area!

yeh...we stayed at a house in the same slit as the marina. You are right...that place is kinda in a little world of its own just outside of some major metro shat. Nice little tuck away place with a great location for a lot of different reasons.

You fish for snook? I hold a golf tournement at Innisbrook (obviously north of there) every year and we always slip away for a snook fishing trip one day. I swear...I honestly think that is the finest tasting fish on this planet!

They arent easy to catch....a good guide or person that knows the water flow is a must! Tide flow, flats, shallows, and how the water moves across those are super critical. 3 years ago was a crazy trip! We had a guide that put us on fish every 3rd cast. Although we met our limit (before the big cut back from the kill off) we kept on catch&releasing. Wish I could find the pictures...but it was UNREAL the amount of snook we lipped that day.

If he did...we could easily "make mean" again
