Looking for anyone who has a floating boat dock and general recommendations for whether or not they are worth the price. My current boat is 22' but have considered getting a smaller (maybe 10-12') and use a floating dock.
How hard is it to get your boat on and off? How does it do with the waves in the water? Does the bottom get full of barnacles and need cleaning? Does the sun damage the plastic? Is it a problem rigging it up to move with the tide?

If your body of water experiences wide variations in water level, you need a floating dock. They are heavy,, so waves don’t Affect them much. If you are planning to leave the boat in the water all of the time, it will grow algae and barnacles.
