J. R. Memorial Bass Fishing Tournament
Feb. 5th, 2011 Lake Bruin in St. Joe,La.
This is one of the largest Bass tournaments in the area.
One of the largest payouts also. I believe this will be the 25th year for this tournament. I fished it up until 2006 when I got hurt. Hoping to be able to get back in one day. You can get all the info at www.fishingwitheddie.com

They have one next weekend for all LA waterways. Weigh in is at Cabelas at 3, but they have several check-in stations. Its "Fishing for Tucker."

If I get my trolling motor put back together this weekend, me and my cousin are going to fish it.

Got hurt at work. Broke my back in 2 places and tore 3 ligaments in my knee. 20' scaffold collapsed and I happened to be standing in the wrong spot.

Just wanted to let everyone know the Tournament has been moved to February 12th due to the weather. Eddie said, though the roads should be ok the ramps are frozen solid and could cause problems. So if ya don't have anything lined up for that weekend here it is.

Just wanted to let you all know that 13.31 was the winning weight for $1800.00 also big bass was just over 4lbs for $700.00 the numbers were down because of the weather, first is usually around $4000 but was still a good turn out. Had folks from La., Miss., Ark., Tex., and I think one from Ala.
