Fifth wheel setup

My fifth wheel sits too high to me, nose high once hitched. I feel like the gap between the cap and the bed rails is way to much, it's easily over 12 inches. I have it converted to a reese gooseball, and I think it should be adjusted, just not sure how much clearance.

Second was the airbag setup on my truck, I've heard mixed reviews. Get it back to stock height, let it sag some, etc.

All in all I feel like I'm too high, my front a/c is rubbing branches and I'm thinking no way I should be that tall.

Standard 42 ft RV. My auto level says I'm like 2.5 degrees nose high when hitched.
