Honest question - what're you throwing on this rod? When I'm using spinning tackle for bass, it's always ML or L. Do you use the M/F as a jack of all trades rod for bank fishing? Or is there a specific technique you're using it for? I use M/F Casting rods a ton, but can't think of any applications where I'd rather have a spinning rod for those presentations aside from really windy conditions
Three primary techniques that feel like a gap for me right now. 1) wacky rig 2) neko rig/shakey head 3) finesse swim bait.
I have a 7’0 ML/F Daiwa Tatula Elite that can work for these (hence why I haven’t been in a rush for this setup).
I would be able to keep the ML as a dedicated ned rig / drop shot setup and then use the M/F for those described above.

That all makes sense. I just split whether I throw those on a ML spinning or a M casting rod depending on the weight. So if you've got the room, a M spinning would be a great gap filler.
I primarily bank, kayak and canoe fish so my rods are limited. Maybe one day if I get a real boat...
I'm usually carrying 4 or 5 rods.
1. ML/F Spinning rod for finesse
2. M/Mod Composite casting rod for squarebills and smaller chatterbaits
3. M/F casting for topwater, jerkbait, shakey head, flukes, micro jigs, light TX rigs, etc...
4th rod is either a MH/F if I'm in a pond or another M/F if I'm river fishing.
5th rod is a H/F if I'm pond or lake fishing.
