Does anyone have any experience with an elevated camp/home
made out of metal. Frame and outside same as metal building and then trimmed inside as desired. I'm thinking of this style instead of your conventional stick built camp. Will be at least 12-15' off ground on concrete slab. Thanks

my main concern for a metal structure would be corrosion due to salt spray...other than that, I think it would be fine. probably lighter than conventional materials...

Would sacrificial anodes work on that or does that only work on metal that's fully submerged?

There are some built like that in Dularge on Brady road right by Fishermans Retreat. The steel for the lrgs of the camp is hot dipped galvanized and framing of the camp up top is the standard red iron. None of the red iron is exposed. You can see them on Louisiana Sportsman classifieds as there has been a couple for sale.
