Bad idea. My pawpaw ended up in bad shape like that. Got that nasty top fin halfway into his foot. I wasn't around for it, but heard it was very bad.

I need to just get one of those grippers. I don't fish saltwater enough currently to worry about it though

I don't frick with catfish...i use a catfish flipper, but if i do grab em, its over the head

It gets my blood PSI up when I find out supposedly respected people are shallow enough to view what people wear as an indication of their personality or anything else for that matter.

My old man got a new fillet knife that is so badass you can't go slow. It's wayyyyyyyyyyy to much power for bream and bass and shite. It's like using a 20" chainsaw to clean fish.
