yeah, breaking my heart. i know she has fun when she gets there. just getting her there is the tough part. she just started kindergarten and she never went to pre k or nursery or anything. i guess she just has to get used to it.

I wore a pair almost every day for the last 3 years. It's killing me especially in the middle of the summer. I'm not used to squinting anymore

Only know the last name. Starts with a G and I don't think you are related or married to her.
Your wife or someone u know teach there?
Posted on 8/18/11 at 9:22 am to deaconjones35
Yes, my wife is a kindergarten teacher there.
She's a good teacher. That is who my wife says she is picking for our child.

Yeah, I met her a couple times and she is very nice. My daughter is very smart and I know she likes it when she is there (at least I hope). I guess she is just getting used to being away from home for so long during the day.
It's kind of torture for me to think she may be sitting in class crying or sad right now. Tell Mrs. Slickback she can check on my girl anytime to make me feel better.
BTW fellas, I know this is the OB and I'm beating a dead horse here, my bad. If you have kids, I think you can relate.

I don't have kids yet (one on the way), but I can feel your pain.
My wife tells me stories all the time. Usually the parents take it worse than the kids. Once the parents leave the kids open up to the other kids and forget about it until they get in trouble or right before it is time to go home.

Yeah, my girl is all about following the rules, so I know she probably does well once she gets there. This morning we had to physically put her on the bus steps. She was crying. Then she tripped a little and got scared and hurried to her seat. The look on her face killed me. Not gonna lie, I had tears rolling down my face after that.

The thought of kids right now is my own personal birth control...that being said, I want them someday
