I like Canadian whiskey just fine. In fact, I'd probably buy it over Tennessee whiskey, but not before bourbon.

Old Charter and it's not even close. I usually have a transmission and a 5th at home. I'm still pissed that they took the handle off the 8yo transmission.

Transmission = handle?
I have limited bourbon experience, but my favorite is Maker's. My least favorite without a doubt is Evan Williams. Probably because the first time I got really drunk was on it and it was a rough night

anybody drink Early Times?
ha! when i used to go to my great aunt's house, all they would drink is "whiskey sours", early times mixed with limeade concentrate!
not as bad as it sounds, but pretty rough

I'm gonna say yes, because it's the bar brand at a lot of places.

never heard the term transmission before, i think i'm gonna start using it

Please do. It should be universal. Too bad about the 8yo though. Wait until LSUballs weighs in.

I always called a bottle with a handle a handle, a 5th a 5th, and a pint a pint.
never heard transmission.
Jack, Knob Creek, Makers, Jim, Ezra Brooks, Old chater, Evan Williams, Woodford, Wild Turkey
In that order IMHO

Anyone ever had LEGIT moonshine?
Posted on 8/24/11 at 2:18 pm to thedice20
I have. It is not good. It really numbs and burns (however that is possible) your entire mouth and your esophagus all the way down.

I can't even look at Old Crow, Carstairs, or Winn Dixie Whiskey in the store with out cracking a smile.
...ahhh, the good times we had.
The first three nights I was with the girl who is now my wife I drank Old Crow. I threw up the first three nights too.
