That's where I stayed as well. One of the TC villas, Ocean Edge. Great place, the only people on the beach are the snorkelers walking to Smiths reef. The waters edge does have rocks so make sure you bring some water shoes of some sort.

Yeah there are 3 or 4 places around the marina that are pretty solid. about 1/2 a mile away i figure.
