You're going down a rabbit hole and I'm not gonna follow you. The OP refers to Dick's sales. Those of us who don't and won't shop at Dick's are of that opinion and principle because of Dick's knee jerk reaction of pulling their AR's off the shelf and destroying them, as well as their decision to refuse firearm sales to anyone under 21, in response to isolated terrorist shootings. We disagree with Dick's decision and politics, therefore we won't give Dick's any of our business. I'll let you research my reference to Remington Arms.

You also left off probably one of the most important things...at the same time as the things you mentioned, Dick’s also actually hired a gun control lobbying firm to lobby in DC in favor of trying to push gun control legislation.

Them pulling AR’s off their shelves or refusing to sell to anyone under 21 only affects their own stores. But that wasn’t all they were trying to do

It’s been 20 + years since we allowed anything from Dicks to be bought for our club. It has nothing to do with their “new” stand in AR or under 21 buying rules - but everything to do with how the Stack family views sportsman. The original stores valued hunters and fishermen but when the sons and daughters took over the stores and expanded sportsman took a backseat. Which I am fine with they expanded and became a Fortune 500 company - it’s how the Stack family spends their money and political capital that I disagree with. Family has turned quite liberal since moving from upstate NY and spend their money that way. So why would I in good conscience spend my money so they can turn around and spend it on things directly against my beliefs?

You are absolutely correct, TP. I had forgotten about that. Thanks for reminding me!
