Those are hearty plants. They have a purpose for areas that get hard freezes.

Well unlike either of yall I hunt in an area with some pretty crappy genetics and not a lot of protein.
But I’ll tell you what, my little deer absolutely hammer young oats when they are first coming up. And selfishly they quickly give me the green plot I desire and keep me from going back and putting down more brassicas seeds.
Also give my clover and brassicas time to getting settled.
