At my club, we would have better results trying to ban hunting than banning alchohol.

Seems like you fellas are in beer camps with a little huntin mixed in. Nothing wrong with that. I am in one myself. But when I want my wife or children around we don't go there. We will go to one that doesn't allow drinking.
I see both sides of the argument. I do think that it's safe to say no alcohol for new members to start out with. Then once you get to know everyone pretty well you could maybe ok a few beers at the camp fire. That's just my opinion. I've seen some grown men do some really dumb shite at deer camp
