Where can I get MSMA and is it safe to use on St Aug?

Don't use it on St Aug. MSMA thrives on that stuff.

I bought mine from a local seed and chemical dealer but you can order it online.

Yes, Hi-Yield Grass killer, or any other brand of sethoxydim.

There's no temperature restrictions on sethoxydim applications, but like just about any selective herbicide label states:

"Younger, actively
growing seedling weeds are more easily killed than
older, mature, well-established grassy weeds which
may require a repeat application for control. "

When I searched on where to buy some it was stated not to use on St Augustine, to only use Atrazine although it will not kill crabgrass post-emerge

Frickin' concrete yard has to be easier than chasing weeds.

Is Atrazine what knocks back the torpedo grass?

Sethoxydim can be used for spot-treating in St Augustine. Expect turf injury, though.

Nope.

Quinclorac products and sethoxydim can suppress it.

In St. Aug there's really no good choice.

I had gotten a gallon once but not sure if you still can. I paid 28 bucks per gallon, recently, so it's not that big an investment. I will see if I can find that for you online.

If not, maybe get a buddy to split a 2.5 gal with you.
