Crabbing, post-flood?

Looking to do some crabbing around Lafayette, probably Rockefeller, before summer dies down. Anyone know if/where they are biting? Thinking a lot of saltwater has been washed away.

Did they go through with cutting holes in the levees to allow flood water to flow South quicker? Last I heard, they were planning on cutting 3 holes in the levee.
