These are currently my favorite. I've had DeWalt or Craftsman in the past but my new Porter Cable set is just so much nicer. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the major brands right now. Depending on who you talk to, they will have a bad story about Brand-A and a good story about Brand-B.

that porter cable drill can usually be had with the sawzall and circular saw for under 300 if you have use for those tools.
