I'd probably have called him out today, but if I were you I'd definitely call and get my money back. It's not about the money, it's about the principle.

Surely of he calls and talks to him and explains it, he will give it back considering he cancelled, lied about it, and got caught.

Sounds like a shitty businessman. These days, the internet is a fantastic forum to get the word out. If he did what you think he did, sounds like he got more money or exposure from someone else and ditched you, kept your money. I would out him like a mofo if it is true.

Anyone in that industry needs to realize that the internet is the new "word of mouth" and can sink or float a business. If he is on trip adviser, go out him there.

I would be willing to eat the $150.00 just to out the guy. The fact that he cancelled is frustrating enough for someone that's been planning and looking forward to a trip like that for months. Add on the fact the type of lie that someone died makes it worse. You just don't lie about something like that.

I would certainly recommend the guide we used today. It was 4lsu2's 2nd time to fish with him and my first. Very nice guy and enjoyable trip.
