WOW,,, that Nascar racing must be pretty popular... Looked like the stands were just filled to capacity,, similar to a NLU football game on the opening day of deer season...

Glad yall are having a big time, NF and Socrates! I watched that modified race on tv last night. Man, that was some wreck on lap 4! And to think that wreck was caused by one of the big boys in Nascar... Great pics, btw! What were your initial impressions when yall saw the facility there for the first time? Hope yall have been able to check out some of the eatin places that I sent you...

doesnt get any better to me..I wish they would replace daytona with a replica of bristols track..
Ive been to a lot of different types of racing from motorcross to gocarts and that is the best racing ive ever watched..

Here ya go, NF. This is the address you asked for to get to Ridgewood BBQ:
900 Elizabethton Highway
Bluff City, Tennessee 37620
Phone: 423-538-7543
From Bristol, go past the track and stay on Volunteer Parkway. You will cross over Holston River (Boone Lake). At the top of the hill, get in the left lane and turn left on to Highway 19-E (Elizabethton Highway). Ridgewood is about ten miles or so down 19-E. If you go on to Elizabethton, you've passed it. (Watch your speed limit because Bluff City is a speed trap.) It's on a little side road on the right just off the main highway and the turn off to this little side road is right across from a Citgo, Shell, or Chevron station (can't remember which exactly it is). Just stop anywhere along the Elizabethton Highway and ask someone if you can't find it? And you can go in to Memory Lane Cafe there inside Uncle Sam's on State Street and ask my friends, Tom and Connie, for directions. Let us all know how yall like Ridgewood! If you don't like it, then blame Ole Geauxt. Really enjoyed talkin with ya on the phone. Thanks again, OG!
