I have a similar type scale that Rapala makes for around $60 that I don't go fishing without. Mine is up to 25lb and my brother has a 100lb one I think. They're great and very handy when dealing with toothy critters.

Yup! I love mine. For whatever reason I have the 15# model. I fish inshore and it does the job.
In one instance my fishing partner and I each caught a red that bottomed out a 35# boga. Those same two fish also were longer that the measuring tape (45inches) on the boat. Makes for some interesting fish stories.
