On a bend in the Chattahoochee River (North part of Lake Eufaula)almost exactly like that one in your pic they had a horrendous boat crash a few years ago that killed 2 of the 3 anglers involved.
Two club tournaments starting out about 10 miles from each other. Crack of dawn, one boats lights not working constant (intermittent from the police report). A Skeeter and a Triton hit head on going around a bend in the river, both boats running in the 65-70 mph range.

Miracle that the one guy (passenger in southbound boat)did survive the crash, even though it killed both drivers of the boats.
