Anyone dealing with swarms of Blind Mosquitoes in south LA? They are semi annual problems in Florida due to high phosphate levels in the water. Supposedly the swarm here is due to the spillway remaining open this long.

Any ideas on how to control them? The internet recommends Telstar P.

This is our second large swarm of them this year. The swarms are lasting about a week or so. I've never seen them this thick around the Lake Ponchartrain area

I crossed the Lake in my boat headed East to go to Orange Beach area for the week.
It was like Moses called down the locusts on Pharaoh and I was just passing by his neighborhood during the wrong passover.
I filled a shop vac with the carcasses.
I'm on my way back now. Hopefully they aren't as thick when I cross the lake tomorrow.

ive had to spray thousands of them out of my boat every day for the last few weeks. They die and decompose and stick to everything. It's a MFering getting them off once dried.
