Looking to replace carpet on fiberglass bass boat decks and cockpit. Anyone tried Tuff Coat??

hydroturf is much better than carpet, and you could do it yourself.

Looked into this a bunch last year. Several good options. Hydro turf/SeaDeck type stuff, SafeFloor, or spray on like you listed.

Seems spray ons would be annoyingly loud, but probably cheapest.

Foams look great, can be done yourself if you want to try. Soft and quiet.

Safefloor is very interesting. It’s like that rubberized playground deck stuff. Fairly permanent. Looks - well I guess it’s a matter of taste. Some samples looked good to me and some didn’t. Seems like the most durable other than spray-on.

All carpet alternatives will leave hatch covers a little loose and potentially rattling, so you have to think about that.
