I have one of those heavy duty black plastic totes from Home Depot. I use a short ratchet strap diagonally to attach it to my metal rack. You can fit a couple of sacks of corn or buckets, chainsaw ect. And you take it off in 30 seconds when the kid wants to ride.

I have the flat back rack and use it around the farm daily and to deer hunt. Just always carry ratchet straps
