Gator hunting two years ago and located the area at night by that same sound, all thrre of us on board jumped, it's definitely spooky as hell. Went back the next morning right at sunrise and set up. About 7a he came easing out and got my biggest ever.......would this be a tree shaker?

Grew up on Rotten Bayou in Diamondhead. Woke up one morning to a half eaten full grown deer carcas under our dock. There are some big alphas back there where it splits into ponds.

I'm right on the south side of the airport with marsh to the north, west and south. I'm sure there are some big ones out there.
