It's my first time to try it.. I got 12 fertilized eggs and they where suppose to hatch yesterday.. 3 hatched Thursday and nothing since then. I've candles them and you can tell some are just duds but most of them look like something is in there. How long should I give them?

I give em about 4 days after. My hatch usually runs a day ahead of schedule. Your temp was consistent? No kids opening/closing incubator? Egg Turner stayed on until lockdown? Humidity is very important as well.

Well.. no egg turner so we had to open it a few times a day to turn eggs..

As long as they were turned. I dunno....other than if the eggs were either not fertile, or stored improperly or too long before being incubated.

One of my hens went broody, exactly 21 days. I had 8 out of 12 hatch, 4 were not fertile. If it isnt to stinky in the incubator they could be late but shouldnt be much more than a day or 2.

Aren't you supposed to NOT turn them the last few days or so?

Sounds like you'll only have 3 Them if all of the eggs were set at the same time. There is a shite ton of things to go wrong during incubation, too hot, too cold, low humidity, high humidity, not turned enough etc. The best thing to do is performed what Is called a hatch residue. Candle the eggs to make sure none of them are xploders (these will be completely black and feel heavy when you candle them). Then break the rest open and see how developed the embryos are. This will tell you if they were early, mid or late dead depending on how much development. Then you can determine some probable causes.
