Not been, but in general, when it's dry, Catahoula has ducks. When wet, it can't compete as well with the Delta. There should be a brazillion right now.

I want to, but I think I have too much going on. If I can slip away, I'm hitting a The White Perch tip I got on IC.

Kincaid? You're brave.

Good luck and give a report.

I thought about going to IC and see if I could find you and Langston, still might. Not sure I want to brave the duck hunters. I always do well on Kincaid in the fall, only thing pushing me to go there.
What was the consensus for how far to stay away from duck hunters, 20 ft sound about right?

There aren't that many. Most shots I heard earlier came from behind the bridge. They are pretty far back there.

Headed to the bend for the WP. Mom's been raping my brushpiles all week

I also heard some good reports on IC.

Just got off the phone with a buddy that hunts Catahoula every day and said hit and miss. First weekend great then kinda tapered off some

No issue out there. Behind the burnt bridges and maybe on a couple of island points. If your around the bank, your doing it wrong.

You know better than that, Im a cheap ho.

I honestly doubt I get to go but there is a chance for sure. If you know where the creek runs through the open lake or the road bed, cruise them and watch the graph... they will be stacked up somewhere. Then all you need is a silver spoon and carolina rigged fluke. Ive got a few on shakey head too.
La, shoot me an email if you want my number, I can help yall find em on the phone when your there better.

Go by academy and spend $199 on that eagle they have with GPS. Its a good graph for the money.
