Anyone have any experience with Grand Design RVs?

My brother and I are finally thinking of pulling the trigger on a 5th wheel camper. More specifically the Reflection 150 290BH. Really like the layout and the fact that it's light enough to be moved by a half ton in a pinch. Problem is I do not know anyone who has any experience with that brand. Internet reviews are sparse and seem to either be 5 stars or piece of garbage, and not much in between. Any OBers have any knowledge with this brand or ever better that specific model? Thanks in advance.

I think they used to be a private company but are now owned by one of the big guys.
They make nice looking rvs, but it doesn't matter who makes it, they can/will all give you trouble.

We don't have one, but we do have a 5th wheel that we spend a lot of time in. A lot of the GDRV owners we've met are happy with them. Full timers, too.
They're all probably going to have some issues, but I've heard nothing but good things about how Grand Design handles those problems.

I researched every camper known to man I believe. Grand Design is a solid brand. They stand behind their product better than most. But as was said above, they all use the same components and will break down. Buy used if you can. A warranty is great, but usually the dealer will need to do the warranty work and it is not unheard of for rvs to be in the shop for months at a time in the first year waiting for parts and manufacturer instructions. Good luck.

Have a bumper pull bunkhouse, with out door kitchen etc. bought it in March. Have yet to have a single problem that required it going back to shop. Have stayed about 50 nights in it and probably traveled 3000 miles. I bought it because I felt quality was a tick better than some others. And so far proven, although not a long track record. If I upgrade, would buy another grand design as of now. Bought it from Mitch at Primeaux. Had a great experience.
