re: Anyone ever own any Motorcycles? Do share your experiences..

My dad's a motorcycle collector. Used to own dozens of crotch rockets during midlife crisis and now owns mostly older bikes. Set the land speed record out in the Bonneville Salt Flats of Utah last year for some odd category (pre WW2 or something like that). He's got some bikes for sale and some going around on tour for museums.

He also owns part or does work for Brough Superior. Not sure the position; possibly the only American seller. Made friends with Jay Leno and sold him one a few years ago. Here's the Brough Superior website ( LINK)

I don't know much about bikes now but when I'm older I'm going to build a cheap little bobbed off rat rod for scooting around town.
