Adding ladder to bass boat

OK, we have tried two different types. The plastic kind that has candy-cane loops at the top falls apart. Worthless. The rope ladder with 2 steps is difficult for me and cannot be used by the dear wife. I need more ideas. The ideal thing would be whatever Skeeter uses for their fish and ski, but not sure how I would get that. Would a Skeeter dealer install one on an older bass boat?

You need an aluminum version of the candy cane ladder that goes deep enough below the boat the wife can use it.
The rope ladder is actually more about technique than anything. Swim up to it and just relax in the water. Lift your foot up into the loop and just sit there a minute and chill with your foot crossed in front of you. Then you just stand up and as you're standing grab something high to help pull yourself up. I taught this method to a friends wife recently and she ain't no petite acrobat. If you can get up off the floor, you can use a rope ladder.
