A300 Ultima for Lefty

Picked this gun up today after the recent sale (thanks to Drive4show). I shoot wrong handed so I took it all down to reverse the shims for cast and drop. Now I want to reverse the safety button.
It appears that the button itself doesn’t fall out on the Ultima like it did on the Outlander and other versions. I have the detent and spring out but can’t remove the silly button.
I see mention of this online but no resolution. Any ideas or help would greatly appreciated.
