While I appreciate your opinion (and you may prove to be correct), there is no better feeling then knowing how to work on your own shite. It's not that complicated and with the aid of the internet there is absolutely every bit of information you could ever need out there.

I have literally rebuilt a classic bronco into a fairly serious rock crawler with the aid of the interwebz. And for the record, I didn't know shite about it before. It really is an amazing tool. That being said, you have to know how to use it. If you go believing anything that's said in the interwebz you can frick yourself.

Learned how to restore/repair gel coat. Also know a whole lot about auto paint repair/restoration. Body work. Car audio installs. Half of the things I learned about fishing. All from the internets. Basically anytime there was something I needed done I'll just go spend some time looking up how to do it and try to teach myself, and it usually works.

Alright fellas!!!
Here I am!! I'm sorry, I've been studying. I quit a pretty good job to go back to school to become a PA (Medical).
Yes, last nite I was out of my mind. It is a Yamaha Grizzly. I don't know why in the hell I wrote Honda. But, it is definitely a 400, not a 450.
You guys have been awesome so far. I know I don't know shite about this, but I am determined to fix it. Because of school, I can't address this until Monday, but I am going to give it a shot!! I have never minded getting my hands dirty.
Now, it would be really nice to have someone drinking a beer, looking over my shoulder and pointing me in the right direction. But I will keep ya'll posted.
Also, I realized I wasn't even spelling carburetor correctly. Got that down. Now we'll see if I can clean my Grizzly up!!

Wil try to post the name of a cleaner I've been using. Was turned on to it by a atv mechanic. Do yourself a favor and take pics with your phone at each stage of disassembly so you don't forget how it went together. Start with a clean work area. Use the correct size screwdriver and tap the handle end forcing the driver into screw head before turning it. The strip easy. An impact screwdriver bit works well. Will try to find some links when I get off this phone.

After I snorked my bike and installed my jet kit I've never felt like more of a man. It's a great feeling. Engines are pretty simple. They need fire, air, and fuel. Address these issues and you should be fine. If not, it could be any number of things that, given your lack of knowledge on the subject (no offense), would be over your head.

Hahaha!!!
I don't think so. I really like my Yamaha.
I just wasn't thinking straight.
SO! Fire, Air, Fuel!!! I'm on it. And, yes, if otherwise......I am in over my head.
