If you are talking 9mm, .223 5.56 or .22 then sure. However, I think everyone here is talking about hunting ammo, not plinking with your .30-06. Most people don't stock up on boxes of a bullet that they might shoot 6 times a year.

I got 2 boxes from 1 of the guys that works for me. Thanks for the offer. Hopefully new scope does the trick on my .270. Will be in tomorrow. Hunting with brother in law .270 this morning. Going to shoot 30.06 after morning hunt see if it's good. For the guys talking about stocking up on bullets this is a gun I haven't hunted with in like 15 years no need to stock up. On the other hand I do have 4 boxes of .270 bullets

Why not? Sooner or later you will need it. Four extra boxes of hunting ammo laying around is peace of mind
