I noticed you alternate hunting with 257 and 300 WBY.
You probably would have enjoyed my neighbor when I lived in Bull Shoals Arkansas,’83-‘85.He was a huge Weatherby fan.Before he retired he had 47 Weatherby rifles,at least 2 of every caliber.He sold all of them except 2 257’s when he retired and moved to Arkansas from Peoria Illinois.
Pictures of his gun cabinet looked like a sporting goods store.He had an impressive trophy room before he retired,mounts of every big game animal in North America.He sold all those also.
He had stacks of photo albums from all his big game hunts,looked like pictures from Outdoor Life magazine.10-12 horses,he and his wife,guides,antlers tied on top of tents,etc the horses were carrying.
He was interesting to talk to.
