the explosion was due to switches in the rig being exposed. (YOU CAN BET THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN).

not seeing a link, but how in the hell do they think they know that is what caused the explosion...the frickin' rig is a mile under water...there are a shitload of ways that gas could have found an ignition source
