is a logistics management company to come in and take over the management of the various phases of the crisis. So many times I have seen and heard people with good ideas or products that could be of benefit express their frustrations with getting involved. Companies like bp do risk assessment on everything and try to make decisions by committee (to diffuse individual blame). But the old wellfighters like Red Adair and Boots and Coots were well known as men that would seize the situation, take complete control and make the necessary decisions to get things done. bp does not appear to have anyone involved with this crisis from their management team or from third party that is capable of seizing control and getting things done. I realize that bp management does not appear to want to have a third party come in and take over logistics but if they continue to try to run this by committee it will be their ultimate undoing.

Sort of like the problems NOLA faced until General Honore came in and took over.

Big corporations like BP suffer from the same bureaucratic paralysis as government. Too many managers and an inability to act quickly.
