Can you really blame then for halting this considering that one accident has the potential to cause a loss of 100's of billions of dollars and in environmental damage?? You are probably thinkin "shut up liberal". But I, work for an exploration company and my dad works for exxon, and I didnt vote for Obama. Yet, I think they are doing the right thing, given that it only lasts until investigations are done.

you are absolutely correct....but some people read the permit ban and think "that's the end of all drilling forever!"...and freak out and whatnot...like i said earlier, the ban is mostly a political 'game', but needed to be done until this incident could be looked @ more closely

dont blame you, we have jobs postponed by shell because of this spill, but we are moving west.... lost work for one is work for another(clean up crew), cant complain about that
