Found a channel randomly on youtube. Uses reports to make videos on aviation mishaps, disasters, some pilot errors, and some great work by pilots. For example, covers a crash that took place decades ago of a flight the left from N.O., and the crash from years ago in Sioux City - most people have seen video of this one. Never knew what a good job the pilots had done to get the plane to that point in the first place.
Having some experience around aircraft I found it really interesting. Some of the in-flight problems I was able to quickly diagnose, but it's a very different approach when that problem occurs during a flight v troubleshooting on the ground.
Videos look a lot like the old MS aviation / flight sim software. He doesn't include much of the real video. It's not about gore or morbid stuff. Covers technical information, some comms transcripts, timelines, NTSB conclusions, what happened subsequently and so forth.
Don't know if it's the best out there but seems pretty good to me and has 90k subscriptions so it must have some credibility out there.

Basing off original accident reports, this channel will explain how air disasters occur, why air disasters occur, and what the industry did about it to make sure these air disasters never occur again.

Video from inside the cockpit of a light plane that crashed. High elevation dirt strip in Idaho and he could never gain enough altitude. LINK

Those are good. There is a collection of 117 videos in his collection. I've knocked those out in a couple days of benge watching. They are great. Love the flight simulations.

Yeah, that Sioux city crash was 'kids day'. That was a shitty one.

The Air Safety Institute has some Accident Case Studies that are really good. Their videos are really similar but they also have the actual voice recordings.
