As an LSU student I got an office job for the summer, not on campus. Was told I would be making a certain amount, and when I got paid realized it wasn't even minimum wage. Called the State Dept of Labor and they investigated. I got back pay, and several other employees got back pay as well. Yes there were several others in the past (one still was there) that had not realized they didn't get minimum wage wen they first started.
