Back in HS as a Soph - 1953 - ran a 5 flat mile. Coach said I had just tied the world record - the women's world record.

When I was running a lot of 5K's & 10K's, I'd usually average a 6:10-6:15 pace...weighed around 175 or so.
I've never "officially" ran One mile for time. Ran a 17:48 3 mile in Marine Corps boot camp back in the day.
