He is better than Stephanie at this point, and not just because he's a face. The authority figures on Smackdown are used so much better. Wrestlers are still allowed to verbally get over the authority figures, and Shane (and Bryan for that matter) put the talent over better than Stephanie. Her shtick is just to run down talent and not put them over.
