WWE Smackdown/AEW Rampage Thread: MMM's Tennis Collection Edition

What a day in the business world and for the Wall Street Journal. Not only did Elon Musk back out of the deal for Twitter... which seems to have set the business world on fire...
But the WSJ came out with a follow up story to Vince McMahon and his sexual exploits which led to NDAs. That story is now up to 4 different women (including the original paralegal) and $12 million paid out in hush money. 2 of the newly discovered NDAs are allegedly with women who were on-air talent... a wrestler and a manager. The story says the wrestler in question broke off the relationship with Vince only to see her role on TV start to wane until ultimately she was released... which could be problematic. 1 of the women involved in the 3 newly discovered NDAs allegedly provided a naked photo of Vince to the investigative team. Now try to get that image out of your head.
I bet Vince is happier than a pig in shite that the Musk/Twitter news broke this afternoon... the business world will be talking about that instead of his shenanigans.
It's all but assumed that John Laurinitis (aka Johnny Ace... aka Mr. People Power) is now out of the company... which was expected from the onset as he was expected to be the fall guy for this situation since Vince it almost untouchable (so long as FOX/NBCUniveral/advertisers don't start pitching a fit).
A new piece of information could corroborate that Sasha Banks & Naomi may no longer be a part of WWE... as both have changed their Twitter descriptions to read "professional wrestler"... which is 1 of those "banned" phrases in WWE. Of course... that could be a work... but don't use the banned words
WWE Friday Night Smackdown comes from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
SummerSlam is coming up... but who will be next in line for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship after that Last Man Standing Match in Nashville? Forever frenemies Drew McIntyre & Sheamus will battle it out tonight to see who will get the title shot at the UK PLE Clash at the Castle in September in Wales
And speaking of the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship... would you look at that... the champion is actually at work tonight as Roman Reigns will be on the show tonight to hype the SummerSlam match against Brock Lesnar
With the Wimbledon tennis tournament coming to its climax this weekend... Maximum Male Models will debut its 2022 tennis collection
And new Smackdown Women's Champion Liv Morgan will try to drive scissors into the skull and suck the brains out of the chances of her 1st challenger for that title... whoever that may be
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AEW Rampage comes from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y.
We have a ROH PPV to promote... so tonight ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham teams up with Lee Moriarty to take on the Tully Blanchard Enterprises tag team The Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Kaun)
ROH Women's World Champion Mercedes Martinez teams again with Serena Deeb to murder some fools
Eddie Kingston takes on Konosuke Takeshita... in what people who saw the match say was a damn good match (seriously... give Takeshita a mouthpiece and start his push)
And Orange Cassidy takes on "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese where if Nese wins... then Orange must sign "Smart" Mark Sterling's petition to get Swerve Strickland removed from the AEW roster
Need more Liv & Lana in our lives

So Vince was banging Sasha????
no... I believe the story said the female wrestler in question was out of WWE by like mid-2000s
ETA: either the manager or wrestler was out of the company by mid-2000s and the other was gone about early-2010s

Since SRS is being a little bitch, do we know which Diva got the huge NDA payout? Jackie Gayda, Dawn Marie, and Christi Hemme are the only ones who left that year.

Hollywood Denise Salcedo just reported that Vince's Netflix documentary that had been planned is now off

For goodness sakes, rt3 ... SHUT UP!!!! Our tribal chief is about to address us!!

Thank God that UK prick isn't on tonight again.
Pretty good way of giving McAfee off so he could work on his golf game to take AJ's money.

ETA: FFS Cole is already screaming IS HE GOING TO CASH IN! (I don't think he's going to cash it in until next year.)

PAC has gone across the Atlantic to defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship for the 1st time
This weekend at the Revolution Pro show in England... he will defend the All-Atlantic Championship against Shota Umino (the son of NJPW referee Red Shoes)
if Revolution Pro... or RevPro for short... sounds familiar... well that's because Will Ospreay wore the RevPro British Heavyweight Championship belt (the company's top title) in the lead up to and at Forbidden Door in lieu of the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship belt since... in storyline... Juice Robinson had absconded with that particular belt after getting stripped of the title.

Sources tell me that the Vince McMahon Netflix documentary has been pulled & is off the programming spreadsheet at Netflix. A source at Netflix confirmed it no longer being listed on their spreadsheet, another source at Netflix said “that shite’s out of here.” (1/2)

Another source indicated that the project was already “deep” in post-production & that several talent interviews had been done months ago & that millions were spent. I spoke to one of the producers on the project, however they declined to confirm nor deny this story to me. (2/2)
