WWE Smackdown/AEW Rampage Thread: Im-Paul-sive Again Edition

WWE Friday Night Smackdown comes from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas
We gonna crown the queen again? IYO Sky defends the WWE Women's Championship against LOLCharlotteWinz
Logan Paul is back on WWE TV tonight after being involved in a WWE type match the last time he was in a boxing ring. Tonight he tells us why he's decided to go after Rey Mysterio, Jr. and the United States Championship
And Rey's LWO teammate Santos Escobar takes on Montez Ford looking to get back at all the stuff the new Hurt Business has done to the LWO lately
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AEW Rampage comes from the Fort Bend County Epicenter in the Houston suburb of Rosenberg, Texas
The first match promoted is confusing to me as it's being promoted for "Mexico's Pound-for-Pound Championship"... which isn't a real thing. It will actually feature 2 belts that Wikipedia says belong to the NWA but AEW is promoting them as CMLL titles as NWA World Historic Middleweight Champion Mistico vs. NWA World Historic Welterweight Champion Rocky Romero. I'm guessing it will be a title-for-title situation
Tomorrow night after Collision is Battle of the Belts and tonight we decide who Orange Cassidy will face for that title with a three-way match pitting John Silver vs. Kip Sabian vs. Brother Zay
Tony Khan will also apparently announce some kind of "dream match" for Collision tomorrow night
Our women's match of the night will see Skye Blue take on Ruby Soho
And the Blackpool Combat Club duo of Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta get to murk some fools
Tonight's top ladies

Roman vs LA Knight has been announced for Crown Jewel. Why they announced it in the middle of the day instead of on tv is anyone's guess.

Hopefully a lot better than that show involving the New Orleans Saints last night
At least SLU finally won a game last night
Did you see how the SLU game started?

The SLU QB (who played for NSU last season) took the snap... walked up 10 yards to where the murdered player's jersey was laying and took a knee next to it while placing the ball on it
Gave the NSU PA announcer the chance to announce that the murdered player made 1 last tackle

I guess they're going to have some story that tries to make everyone cry?
