WWE Smackdown/AEW Rampage Thread: A Storm is Ending? Edition

There's belief that tonight's TBS Championship match on Rampage between Kris Statlander & Jade Cargill may be the final match of Jade Cargill's AEW career... with some belief she could show up in WWE or NXT as soon as next week.
WWE Friday Night Smackdown comes from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colo.
"The Grayson Waller Effect" is back tonight with super special guest John Cena. It will be up to Miz to determine if we can see him tonight or not.
Speaking of Miz... he gets a chance at revenge after losing to LA Knight at Payback when the A-Lister faces the Megastar again
A fight as old as time... the Far East vs. the West Coast as Asuka takes on Bayley. Will there be sneak attacks?
And The Phenomenal One takes on The Prince as AJ Styles takes on Finn Balor in 1v1 action that would get 5 stars in the Tokyo Dome a decade ago.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AEW Rampage comes from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio
As noted above... the TBS Championship will be up for grabs as the only 2 women to ever hold that belt square off in the rematch of the lone change in that title's history as Kris Statlander defends against Jade Cargill
The Kingdom of Matt Taven & Mike Bennett will be in action... getting a nice easy win over "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal
In 8-man tag team action... we get 2 sets of brothers teaming up... the Lucha Bros & Hardy Bros against a team of not-brothers... Butcher, Blade, Jeff Jarrett, & Jay Lethal
And The Acclaimed gets a nice free win over some random team while getting to show off their scissor belts
It's so big it might span 2 promotions

Hi rt3! I hope you're doing well.

disqualification or Dairy Queen??

Well, I was originally asking about Dairy Queen but now, thanks to you, I want to know about both.

Jade is supposedly going straight to the main roster. They don't do that very often, especially for someone with so little experience.
The post merger cuts began today. WWE let go a bunch of office people. There's talk of talent cuts coming soon too. Also WWE supposedly wants $300 million a year for the next Smackdown tv deal with Disney and Amazon being the top contenders. Disney would likely put it on ABC instead of ESPN.

I’m here with my kids. Anyone cool gonna be here? I heard Cena will be.

Cena, LA Knight, AJ Styles, maybe Rey Mysterio will show up. I know the kiddos seem to like Rey.

seems like the championships might get a rebrand too
perhaps a new focus on weight classes (ie WWE Heavyweight Championship, a return of the Cruiserweight Championship maybe... possible RIP to the Universal, Intercontinental, United States Championship?)
and WWE may get their own Trios Championship

You have three kids???? Good for you….

I've seen talk about splitting up the tag belts again. They don't want to go the AEW route and have a million belts. When the deal was first announced, it sounded like Endeavor would leave Vince alone and let him keep running WWE like he wants. I wonder how much they're going to interfere now that everything is final.

I think Rhea got killed by a rhinoceros falling on her from the sky on Monday night.

They aren't showing it on a backup channel? Most FOX stations have a .2 nowadays.

the fatal 4-way match of G's dreams
Rhea vs. Jade vs. Nia vs. Nyla

I could put a few ahead of Rhea on that list.
Piper Niven and Shotzi are the first two to come to mind. Rhea wouldn't be too bad if not for all the God-awful tats.
