Not to discourage you but my pops passed last April from stage 4 lung cancer. It had spread to his hip/lymphnodes before they found it and had a 10 cm tumor in his left lung
He only lived about a month and a half. Had his first chemi treatment on wed/Thursday and was gone the next Tuesday. We were really lucky in that he really never experienced all the pain and discomfort most patients go through from the cancer or the chemo
If you had seen him the Friday before he died you wouldn't even have known he was sick other than an average cough he was carrying around. Saturday morning I had to call and ambulance and the rest is history
Anyways good luck to you and yours and I'll be here if you need anything. Having been through it before I might can be of some help. Email is Wishnitwas1998@yahoo so whatever or whenever

Wow, sorry to hear about your dad and that it all happened so suddenly. I appreciate the kind words. We're just hoping for the best with the radiation and chemo treatments that started today. He had lung cancer, surgery, and chemo about 4 1/2 years ago but it came back last year.

I did grow up an hour east of New Orleans and we would get our "local" channels and news from New Orleans so that's as close as I have to being Cajun.
