Buying a 10 year old Toyota isn't the same as buying a 10 year old from another brand. I have a 2008 Tacoma with over 300k miles on it. Zero issues, just regular maintenance, some cosmetic wear on the driver's seat.
I was at a dealership with my wife looking for a bigger suv for her with baby #2 on the way a couple of months ago, and the guy offered me $16k for my truck. Happily said no.
